There is no question the aesthetics industry needs to be regulated – in fact there’s a strong argument to say regulation should have started long before now.
However, are the authorities in Scotland going about it in the right way? Starting with the healthcare professionals already in the industry seems like taking the easy option rather than tackling some of the unethical practices that are undoubtedly out there. We all want value for money in life, but the cheapest isn’t always the best.
